Kitchen expert Symphony has teamed up with sinks and taps specialist Blanco to produce a new brochure dedicated to the social housing sector.
Featuring an extensive range of sinks and taps, the new brochure focuses on functionality, technical excellence and aesthetics. The range also includes a selection with unique features designed specifically to assist independent living for people with a disability.
Symphony's Building Division Marketing Manager Kathleen Lyon, said: "We have worked with Blanco for many years and this brochure encompasses our joint expertise in serving the social housing sector, particularly in relation to the specific requirements of people with disabilities."
All sinks in the Symphony-Blanco range come with a factory-fitted seal as standard, cutting fitting time and eliminating water ingress. The premium quality stainless steel sinks require minimum care, have high resistance to heat and staining and their smooth, non-porous surfaces are practical and hygienic.
Clip rails are also fastened to each sink, by laser welding or machine presses, ensuring no dimpling on the sink's surface.
The Symphony-Blanco tap selection is manufactured from approved materials and components and complies where appropriate to UK (WRAS) and European (DVGW) Din standards.
The new brochure features an extensive range of products, specifically designed to assist people with specific disabilities.
The Blanco Oval kitchen mixer tap, for example, features a unique built-in L.E.D. light which changes colour to give a visual indication of the temperature of the water: from blue for cold, through purple to red for hot, for people with visual impairment.
The brochure features an extensive range of lever-operated taps, specially designed for people with manual dexterity challenges and the Insinkerator, which provides filtered 98 degrees C water on tap: enabling users to enjoy a hot cuppa at the push of a lever, without having to fill and boil a kettle.
The Focus tap has lever handles which are coloured red for hot and blue for cold so the tap is not only easy to operate but it also provides added assistance for people with visual difficulties. The ingenious Access tap is designed to fold down enabling tilt windows – a popular design feature, particularly in apartment buildings - to be reached and opened.
